Jonah spent five years as a research specialist at Tulane University, where he optimized inventory management systems, dev tested an organization-wide SQL database, supported grant applications, maintained documentation for regulatory audits, and served as project manager for NIH-funded research. He holds an M.S. in Cybersecurity Management from Tulane, with a capstone focused on NIST SP 800-171 compliance, along with a certificate in Cyber Defense from the Tulane School of Professional Advancement, CompTIA Security+, and the Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) certification.
Now in his fourth year with DCG, Jonah has guided a growing roster of clients from initial scoping and discovery through gap remediation and assessment prep, culminating in successful CMMC Level 2 C3PAO certifications. His work has since expanded past advisory into the technical controls themselves: detection engineering and SIEM operations, vulnerability management and POA&M remediation, zero-trust access, and hardening built on FIPS-validated cryptographic modules across cloud and endpoint fleets. In parallel, he has helped grow DCG’s Midwatch platform from a minimum viable product into a FedRAMP-ready managed security service, and builds the continuous monitoring and evidence pipelines that keep client environments assessment-ready year-round.
